YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO – September 10, 2008 – Zethus Software, a leader in cloud storage technology, recently announced that they are participating in the Cushwa Fellowship program in conjunction with Youngstown State University.
“We are proud to be able to place select graduate fellowship students in organizations,” said Dr. Allen Hunter. “Working with companies such as Zethus Software gives graduate students dynamic, real world experience that is invaluable to their career goals.”
“It’s a good opportunity for us to collaborate with higher education institutions and give back to the community,” said Eric Parker, CTO and founder of Zethus Software. “It is a win-win situation. We get the effort of a graduate student to work in our testing lab and the student gets some hands on experience in a technology company.”
Started in 2003, the Cushwa Fellowship program at Youngstown State University provides five fellowships annually to select graduate students in math, engineering, science or technology. In a time of decreased funding for individuals in the sciences, the Cushwa Fellowship program has assumed an increased importance.
